With a teaching and administrative experience spanning more than three decades, Prof. Singh holds a Doctorate in Applied Psychology apart from being a Human Resource Management, Certified Licensed Practitioner and Trainer. Throughout her distinguished career, she was engaged in a series of academic administrative positions at various institutions and have been engaged in providing strategic directives at a senior leadership role. A keen researcher and a prolific writer, Prof. Singh has published more than 30 papers, articles and many case studies pertaining to the GCC region in national and international journals in the area of talent management, leadership, EVP, stress management, knowledge management etc., and is recipient of many national and international awards.

Professor/Dr. Nabeel Jurdi

Professor Nabeel Arif Jurdi is the professor, at the American University in the Emirates, where he has been since 2007. He currently serves as Professor Emeritus at South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) University. In 2014, he was an Evaluator for Dubai government excellence program. He received a B.Sc. in Social Science and Economics from California State Polytechnic University in 1970, and an M.A. from University of Southern California in 1972. He received his Ph.D. in Government from Claremont Graduate University in 1977. From 1988 to 1993, he worked at Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon, Washington as a Professor. From 2003 to 2004 he worked at Abu Dhabi University, as a Consultant. From 1999 to 2003 he worked at University of Qatar, as Professor and Chairman, Department of Mass Communication. From 1993 to 1999 he worked at Kuwait University as a Professor in the Department of Mass Communication. From 1980 to 1987 he worked at University of the United Arab Emirates as an Associate Professor and Chairman of Department of Mass Communication. From 1977 to 1980 he worked at King Saud University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mass Communication. From 1973 to 1975 he worked at Durham University as a Lecturer in the Centre for Middle East and Islamic Studies.

Prof. Walter Leal Filho

Prof. Walter Leal is a Professor of Environment and Technology at MMU and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He is Head of the Research and Transfer Centre "Sustainability and Climate Change Management" at Hamburg University. He has been working in the field of environmental and sustainable development since 1987. He initiated the International Climate Change Information Program (ICCIP). He has over 300 publications among authored/edited books, book chapters, papers published in refereed journals and/or presented at international conferences, to his credit. Prof. Leal has extensive experience with European funding programs and the management of large interdisciplinary research projects.

Prof. Robert Gyorodi

Professor Robert Gyorodi has PhD in Computer Science in the area of Pattern Recognition, from Politehnica University of Timisoara. His main research interests are in: combination of image processing, artificial intelligence, neural networks, and database management systems in providing a safer operating experience within existing and future operating systems. His professional experience includes participation abroad in different mobility projects, three years as visiting lecturer at the University of Limerick, Ireland, between 2001 and 2004. Member of Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance EMEA Advisory Council.

Prof. Fatima Kukeeva

Resource Center for American and Democratic Studies, Kazakhstan

Dr. Fatima Kukeyeva is a professor in International Relations and Foreign Policy Department at al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in foreign and security policy, transatlantic relations, American studies, and issues of globalization and democracy. She is the author of three monographs and numerous articles on security issues in Central Asia, the U.S. foreign policy, international organizations, democracy issues in IR, and international engagement more broadly. She is a Director of the Resource Center for American and Democratic Studies.

Prof. Nik Bessis

Edge Hill University, UK

Professor Nik Bessis is a full Professor of Computer Science and Head of Department of Computer Science at Edgehill University, UK. He holds a PhD and a MA from De Montfort University, UK and a BA from TEI of Athens, Greece. He is a Fellow of HEA, BCS and a Senior Member of IEEE. His research is on social graphs for network and big data analytics, as well as on developing data push and resource provisioning services in IoT, FI and inter-clouds. He is involved in and led a number of funded research and commercial projects worth £7m. He has also been involved in a £3m capital project and co-led the development of a £13m state-of-the-art Tech Hub building. Prof. Nik Bessis has published over 250 works and won 4 best paper awards.

Prof. David Weir

At Oxford University he obtained a MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public and Social Administration. He was the first elected Chair of the Association of Business Schools and is a Companion of the Chartered Institute of Management, and Burgess of the City of Glasgow. He has been Director of Gulliver Foods, Chairman of Forever-Broadcasting (Yorkshire), Arbitrator for the Dairy Industry (Scotland), member of the Committee of Inquiry into the Engineering Profession (Finniston Committee), the Sociology and Social Administration Committee of the Economic and Social Research Council, Chair of the Teaching Company Management Committee of the Science and Engineering Research Council and a member of the Research Assessment Panel for Business and Management and of the Council for National Academic Awards.

Prof. Ksenija Dumicic

Dr. Dumičić is a tenured professor at the Department of Statistics of the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Economics and Business. Professor Dumičić has thought courses at the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan (USA), as well as at the TES, University of Southampton (UK). Dr. Dumičić has overseen a dozen of professional and scientific research projects in the fields of applied statistical research, sponsored by UN (WHO, UNICEF) and EU organizations and grants, as well as by Croatian Science Foundation, Ministry of Sciences, and University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI), International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS), International Association on Statistical Education (IASE), and Women in Statistics Committee (WSC) of the ISI, and a member of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS).

Prof. Mohamed Youssef

Dr. Mohamed Youssef is a Professor at the College of Business Administration of the American University in the Emirates. He got his Ph.D. from the City University of New York, USA. He has published more than 140 research papers in refereed journals as well as the proceedings of prestigious academic societies such as Decision Sciences, POM, and the Academy of Management, in the areas of Quality Management, Benchmarking, Advanced Manufacturing technology, Time-Based Technology, Business Process Re-Engineering, and other POM related areas. In addition, he translated 13 books from English to Arabic, all in Business and Quality Management areas.

Prof. Dalila Boughaci

University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algeria

Dr. Dalila Boughaci is a Professor in Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology USTHB (Algeria). She got her PhD from the University of Provence - Aix-Marseille I (Marseille-France) in 2008, and her “Habilitation” Post-doctoral diploma from USTHB University in 2009.  She earned her second PhD in programming systems from the University of Sciences and Technology, Beb-Ezzouar, Algiers in 1997, 2001 and 2008, respectively. Dr. Boughaci’s current research interests are in the areas of data mining, evolutionary computation, artificial intelligence, meta-heuristics, multi-agent systems, network security and e-commerce.

Prof. Dusko Tomic

Dr. Dusko Tomic is a Professor in the College of Media and Mass Communication of the American University in the Emirates. His research interests include security and risk management, where he has more than 20 years of experience in specific areas of disaster and risk prevention and sanitation, and risk management of emergency situations. He  completed his  Doctoral degree  in Political Sciences and graduated from Belgrade  University in 2009. Professor Tomic is the author of nine monography and published books,  and over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters related to security, terrorism, intelligence  system and  emergency management.

Prof. Tarek Mohamed

Dr. Tarek is a Professor of Law and specialized in Public Finance and Economic Legislation. He holds a PhD in Law in the field of "Arab Funds”. Dr. Tarek currently is a Dean of the College of Law at the American University in the Emirates. He also served as Director of the Institute of Finance and Tax Sciences at the Faculty of Law, Helwan University. He published papers in many scientific conferences. He also published many books in the Arab finance funds, Economic Analysis of Corruption Banking, and obeyed the legal and economic aspects of the banking sector.

Prof. João Paulo Vieito

Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, Portugal

Dr. João Paulo Vieito is a Professor of Finance at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. He received his PhD in Business Science, Finance Specialization, from the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Porto.  He also as a MSc in Finance from Portuguese Catholic University, a MBA in Operations Management from Portuguese Catholic University, and a degree in Management from ISCTE. His research interests are in the areas of neurofinance, corporate governance and market efficiency. He has served on the editorial board of journals like Annals of Financial Economics, Journal of Modern Accounting and Auditing, Montenegro Economic Journal, and Mudra Journal of Finance and Accounting.  He published papers in Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Behavioral Finance, Applied Economic Letters, International Review of Economic and Finance, Journal of Economic and Business, among several others.

Dr. Adel Khelifi

Professor Adel Khelifi holds a PhD in Software Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure of the Université du Québec, Montréal, Canada (2005). He is a Dean and Associate Professor at the College of Computer and Information Technology of the American University in the Emirates. He was working for the United Nations MSF in Canada, for Canadian Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, and for the Ministry of Finance in Tunisia. Currently, he is involved in developing a software engineering curriculum. As a Canadian ISO member in software engineering, Professor Khelifi is contributing to the development of software measurement standards.

Dr. Damilola S. Olawuyi

Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar

Dr Damiloa Olawuyi is an Associate Professor in Petroleum, Energy and Environmental Law at the HBKU Law School, Qatar, and Chancellor’s fellow at the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (OGEES Institute), Nigeria. Dr. Damiloa has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, books, and reports on climate finance, energy infrastructure, and extractive resource governance.  His most recent publication is “The Human Rights-Based Approach to Carbon Finance” in Cambridge University Press, 2016.  Dr. Damiloa was formerly an international energy lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP, Calgary, where he served on the firm’s global committee on extractive resource investments in Africa.

Dr. Thabit Sultan Mohammed

Dhofar University, Oman

Dr Thabit Sultan Mohammed is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Dhofar University, Oman. He received his PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Cranfield University, England, in 1992. His research interests are in the areas of information theory and coding, speech and image recognition, reliable software, microcontrollers and embedded systems. He is a member of IEEE, IEEE computer society, IAENG, IRED, ASR, and a senior member of IACSIT.

Dr. Sarah Khalil Elmasry

University of Sharjah, UAE

Dr Sarah Elmasry holds a doctoral degree in Architecture Design and Research from the College of Architecture and Design at Virginia Tech, U.S.A. (2007). In 2008, she moved to the UAE and started her academic track in the country as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering, U.A.E. University. In 2015, she joined the Interior Architecture Program at the College of Fine Arts and Design, University of Sharjah, teaching third year design studios course.

Dr. Rula Azawi

Gulf College, Oman

Dr Rula Azawi is an Associated Professor and Program Leader of Computer Science Department at Gulf Collage affiliated with Staffordshire University, UK since 2005. She received her Ph.D. in Intelligent Software Engineering from De-Montfort University, UK at 2015. She has over fifteen years of teaching experience, 10 years of which as senior lecturer with proficiency in teaching several computer science topics. Her current research interests are in the areas of serious games, educational games, game development methodology and Agent Oriented Software Engineering (AOSE), and their applications on the game domain.

Dr. Rasha Hattab

Dr. Rasha Hattab is a PhD. holder in Commercial Law from Strasbourg University, France (2004). She is a Member of the Jordan Bar Association since 2007. She has 13 years of academic and practical experience, included Yarmouk University in Jordan for 8 years. She moved to the University of Sharjah in September 2012. Her research interest are in the areas of commercial law (laws of companies and securities), and she has published number of books and articles in national and International journals in Arabic and French languages, and participated as a speaker in many regional and international workshops and conferences.

Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat

Dr. Nazih Mallat is an IEEE Member since 2007 and Senior Member since 2012, Member of "Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec". He received his Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication from University of Quebec, "Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS)", Canada in 2010. His main research interests are passive microwave/millimeter-wave circuit design, and telecommunication systems. He has served also in the steering committee of many IEEE international conferences. He is currently the Dean of College of Engineering) at Al Ain University of Science and Technology. He is the founder of the IEEE AAU Student Branch and the IEEE UAE MTT-S Chapter.

Dr. Munir Majdalawieh

Dr. Munir Majdalawieh is an academic researcher and a practicing in Enterprise Information Systems. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in Enterprise Systems and MIS at Zayed University (ZU), and served as the Program Coordinator and the Assistant Dean for Students. Dr. Moutaz Haddara is an Associate Professor in Information Systems at Westerdals-Oslo, School of Arts, Communication & Technology, Oslo, Norway, Adjunct Professor at SP Jain School of Global Management, and Professor at TIAS School for Business & Society, Utrecht, Netherlands. Dr. Moutaz holds a PhD in Information Systems and a Master degree in Computer Science. He has more than 40 publications in the areas of big data, enterprise systems, smart factories, benefits management, and query optimization techniques. Dr. Moutaz serves as an editorial and review board member for several international information systems journals and conferences.

Dr. Mohammed Abaidullah Anwar

Dr. Muhammad Anwar completed his PhD in Computer Engineering with specialization in Object-oriented Databases at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. He started his postgraduate teaching and research career in 2001 at the National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan Presently, Dr. Anwar is associated with Al Ghurair University (AGU), UAE where he works as Coordinator of BSCSE program, Deputy Dean of CEC, and Director IEP. His research interests include: data mining, object-oriented databases, developing tool for measurement of coupling of Object-oriented systems, mobile application and educational data mining, ad hoc query optimization.

Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Banihabi

Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim is currently working in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Water Resources Engineering) from Kyushu University, Japan in 1996. He is an active member of the Japan Society of Civil Engineering (1992-1996), Iranian Hydraulic Association, and the Watershed Management Society of Iran since 1997. He has more than 150 publications in the areas related to Multi criteria decision making in water resources management, Strategic planning for water resources management, Optimization of flood control projects and water resources systems, Adaptation for climate change, and Forecasting of river flow.

Dr. Mario Majcen

Dr. Mario Majcen is an Associate Professor in Meteorology at California University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mario received his PhD in meteorology from Pennsylvania State University, MS in meteorology from the University of Utah, and BS in Geosciences (Meteorology ad Seismology) from University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is an active researcher in severe weather, tornado genesis, numerical weather prediction, and climate dynamics research. Dr. Mario is interested  in collaboration in multidisciplinary research on topics of severe weather forecasting, aviation meteorology, weather and climate risk management, scientific outreach and communication, climate dynamics, and global climate change mitigation.

Dr. Maria Chatzichristodoulou

Dr Maria Chatzichistodoulou is a Reader in Performance and New Media, and Head of External Development and Enterprise, at the School of Arts and Creative Industries, London South Bank University. Dr Maria is a curator, producer, and community practitioner who has worked in Europe and internationally. She has published extensively. She is co-editor of the volumes Intimacy Across Visceral and Digital Performance (2013) and Interfaces of Performance (2009), and of special issues of the journals. She is currently working on the monograph titled Live Arts in Network Cultures (forthcoming, Palgrave Macmillan), and she is an Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Performance Arts & Digital Media (Routledge).

Dr. Maria Casoria

Dr. Maria Casoria is an Assistant Professor at the Royal University for Women, College of Law, Bahrain, and Associate at the law firm Legália, Rome, Italy. She holds a PhD. in Markets Law and her academic background is rooted in Comparative law. She specialized in Commercial law, Competition law and Dispute Settlement. For several years, Dr. Maria has served as Research Fellow and Lecturer of Comparative Private and Commercial law at the University of Siena. She is an Italian qualified lawyer, and Mediator in Civil and Commercial Disputes. She is author of several articles published on leading law journals, on topics related to both Civil and Commercial law.

Dr. Khalifa Al Fadhel

Dr. Khalifa Fadhel is an Assistant Professor of Public International Law at the University of Bahrain. He is Board of Trustees Member of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development since 2015, and the Bahrain Centre for International, Strategic and Energy Studies since 2017. He holds a PhD in Philosophy of Law and an LLM in International Law from the University of Leeds, UK, in addition to an LLB from the University of Bahrain. Dr. Khalifa has published numerous articles about Bahraini and GCC current affairs in international media outlets and his current academic interests are in the fields of contemporary political philosophy and international human rights, asn well as International Law.

Dr. Kamen Spassov

Dr. Spassov is an ICT professional with extensive international experience. He has a unique blend of business and technical background with key strengths as an analytical and strategic thinker who is a creative, result-oriented leader. Dr. Spassov is a Head of Master Degree Program “e-Business, and the e-Governance Laboratory at Bulgarian Academy of Science. He is interested in e-governance, e-business, information security, and Internet of Things. He has experience in Bulgaria and USA working for different international and multinational companies. He also gained experience in IT and Web consulting and research projects at local and international level. He has also entrepreneurial experience.

Dr. Jennifer Nightingale

Slippery Rock University, USA

Dr. Jennifer Nightingale is an Associate Professor at Slippery Rock University, USA. She has been teaching Information Systems since 2000. Before entering higher education, she spent 15 years in industry with a focus on management and training. Her research expertise is areas such as instructional technology, using technology as a teaching tool, and the impact of instructional technologies on student learning. She has earned numerous teaching and research honors and awards, holds an Ed.D. (instructional technology) and two M.S. degrees (information systems management and education) from Duquesne University, USA, and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, USA.

Since 2011, Dr. Jeananne “Nan” Nicholls, DBA, MBA, has been a faculty member at Slippery Rock University’s (SRU’s) School of Business after spending 20+ years in senior positions in technology-based economic development in OH, WV, and PA, managing $40+ million worth of research grants and projects. She holds degrees from Kennesaw State University (DBA), Duquesne University (MBA), and Carlow University (BS). Her research interests include student clubs/organizations membership, BRT, marketing/education, service-learning, ethics, CSR, sustainability, and healthcare. She received SRU’s 2015 President’s Award for Academic Advising and was named the 2016 Pittsburgh AMA Distinguished Educator of the year.

Dr. Grimot Nane

Green Economics Institute, UK

Dr. Grimot Nane is a UK multi-disciplinary economist who specializes in corruption, institutions, energy and ecocide mainly within the paradigm of institutional political economy and future studies. Originally trained as an energy engineer, he is currently a research principal with the Ethiope Foundation, London, UK and is a Visiting Lecturer with the Green Economics Institute, Reading, UK. He has two decades of experience as an energy management professional and energy policy analyst in both the UK and Nigeria prior to moving into economics. He was formerly a research fellow and lecturer at London South Bank University. Dr. Grimot is also an author, journalist and blogger. He holds a PhD in Development Economics from London South Bank University.

She has a DPhil in Informatics from the University of Sussex, UK, and a BS in computer Science from the University of Houston, U.S.A. Her professional experience of over 20 years comprises teaching, research and industry practice. Her research interests are in the areas of cognitive modeling, health informatics, e-Learning, Cloud Computing and digital forensics, in which she has published several papers and presented at international conferences. Dr. Beatriz Itzel Cruz Megchun

Dr. Beatriz Megchun is an Assistant Professor in Design Management at the Department of Design of the American University of Sharjah. She earned her PhD in Design Management from Staffordshire University, UK. Afterwards, she gained a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Center for Applied Business Research in the Business School. Dr. Basem Shomar

Dr. Basem Shomar received his PhD and Habilitation degrees from the University of Heidelberg, Germany and is currently working as a Principal Investigator at Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and was leading the group of Environmental and Chemical Sciences from 2012 to 2015. His scientific research focus is on strategies that blend field and laboratory methods with new theory, modeling, computation, data systems, and evaluative techniques to create solutions to complex environmental challenges associated with desalination programs in Qatar.

Mr. Seth Thompson

Mr. Seth Thompson is Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Design at the American University of Sharjah, involved in documenting and interpreting art, design and culture through print and online presentations. Mr. Seth holds a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an MA in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and an MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Dr. Francesca Ruisi

Dr.Daniel Onah

Dr Onah, a native born of Nigeria is an academic of strong international standing in Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering (Software Systems). Dr Onah received BSc (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Nigeria and received the MSc (Eng.) degree in Computer Systems Engineering with specialization in Software Systems from the University of East London, United Kingdom in 2011 and the Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom in 2017. Dr. Dhouha Kbaier Ben Ismail

Dr Dhouha Kbaier Ben Ismail joined the University of Bedfordshire (UoB) as a Lecturer in Telecommunications and Network Engineering in 2016. She received from Telecom Bretagne both her PhD in 2011 and her MEng degree in 2008. She was specialized in Space Communications Systems in Toulouse, heart of the European Aerospace Industry. Prior to working at the UoB, she worked for several years as a post-doctoral research follow first at Telecom Bretagne, then with Thales Airborne Systems and finally at IFREMER. Prof. Mirjana Pejic-Bach

Dr. John D. Ranney

Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania United States.

Dr. John D. Ranney PhD. is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania United States. His research focuses on the role of digital media in the peer relationships of adolescents and college students. Dr. Ranney takes a process oriented approach to examining the role of digital media in students’ lives focusing on how personal motivations, relationship dynamics, and characteristics of digital media environments relate to changes in relationships and psychological adjustment. Recent studies have examined associations between digital media use and first-semester college students’ adjustment to college, how digital technologies change the process of co-rumination, and associations between adolescent popularity and their digital social behaviors. Dr. Ranney has presented his research at the Society for Research on Child Development and the Society for Research on Adolescence and has publications in Developmental Psychology, Journal of Educational Psychology, and Computers in Human Behavior.

Irena Palić

Irena Palić graduated in 2008 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, majoring in Finance. Dr. Berislav Žmuk,

Berislav Žmuk, PhD, graduated at the major Accounting, post-graduated Statistical Methods for Economic Analysis and Forecasting, and gained his PhD degree in Business Economics at Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Carl M. Rebman, Jr.

Dr. Rebman is a Professor of Information Systems and teaches courses in information management, systems analysis/design and programming, data communication and network security, project management, database management, marketing and business intelligence/data analytics. Dr. Nahed Baba

Dr. Nahed Baba is an associate professor in textile design, researcher an active contributor to design education in MENA. She holds a PhD and MA in design from The Nottingham Trent University, and BA in textile printing from Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Egypt.  Dr. Baba have served as textile design educator in the college of Fine Arts & Design at Sharjah University for more than 9 years (2009-2017) and many other university in the region. Dr. Shaima Elbardawil

Shaima Elbardawil is a graphic designer and an assistant professor of Graphic Design at the College of Fine Arts and Design, University of Sharjah. Shaima Elbardawil is a Jordanian visual communication practitioner, researcher, and educator. Since 2012, she has been working as an assistant professor of Graphic Design at the College of Fine Arts and Design, University of Sharjah.
