Sandra Baroudi holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management (MLP) from the British University in Dubai, UAE. She currently works as a research fellow for Queen Rania Foundation in Jordan and the Education Endowment Foundation in London. She held the position of a visiting faculty at UAEU in Al Ain for the second academic semester of 2019-2020. She worked for the past 5 years as a freelance researcher at the college of Education at Zayed university in Dubai. Her work explores the leadership and management in the education sector, educational policies and management, teacher education and professional development, educational reform, technology integration in classroom, and development of female leadership in the MENA region. Her current project is to contextualize the teaching and learning toolkit into the Arab world context. Additionally, she is working on two projects related to teacher preparation programs and the challenges of the field experience both face to face and online. Meanwhile, she is also conducting a study to measure teacher’s self-efficacy and abilities to teach online during the pandemic.
